FLWR is a native Windows DAW with the AutoSear suite hosted inside it. It does not phone home, it does not expire, and there is no server that could ever turn it off, because there is no server.

Six skins, and they are not recolours

The whole instrument changes, not the paint

Corner radius, fader cap geometry, grip depth, label tracking, icon stroke weight and the direction light falls are all per skin. Retro Console lights from a warm bulb and its caps are wide and shallow like the hardware it remembers. Dark Tech lights cold, with narrow caps and square stroke ends.

The part nobody else can offer you

The plugin suite is not an add-on. It is the same house.

AutoSear is a 32-plugin mixing and mastering suite, built from scratch. FLWR hosts it. One design language, one vendor, one licence philosophy, and no plugin folder archaeology to make them meet.

The library is a console layout, not a dropdown: the whole suite, with categories, favourites and search.

Each plugin type gets the layout its function implies. An EQ is its response curve. A compressor is its transfer curve and knee. A delay is its echoes. Every curve is drawn from the plugin's real reported values, never a decorative approximation, and when FLWR does not recognise a plugin's parameters it shows an honest knob grid rather than guessing.

Embedded, floating windows

Plugin panels float inside FLWR, drag anywhere, and minimise to a dock chip carrying the plugin's mark, so you can always see what you have running.

One click opens the native editor if you prefer it. FLWR's panel is an option, not a replacement.

Third-party plugins welcome

VST3 today; CLAP hosting is on the roadmap, not in this build. When FLWR does not recognise a plugin's parameters it says so by showing an honest knob grid instead of guessing at a layout.

This is not a promise about our intentions. It is a fact about how the software is built, and you can check every line of it.

The claim	Why it is structurally true
No phone-home	Your key is verified offline by signature. FLWR never contacts a licence server, because there isn't one.
Nobody can switch it off	Follows from the above. There is nothing to revoke against a machine that never checks in.
Paid keys do not expire	Paid keys are minted perpetual. The format can express a dated key for a timed beta, and we said we would tell you when we issued one, so: the beta key shipped in the installer is dated and expires 13 November 2026. When it does, FLWR keeps running, editing, recording and saving. Only export stops until you have a new key, and nothing you made becomes unreadable.
It is not a locked door	Without a key FLWR still runs, edits and saves your work. It declines to export. Your sessions are never held hostage.
Your project files are readable without us	A `.flwr` is a plain zip. Rename it, open it with anything, and your `project.json` is right there in readable text with your plugin settings beside it. Your audio is not swallowed into it at all: your files stay where you put them, referenced by path, so they are still just your files. Nothing is encrypted and nothing is obfuscated, so if FLWR vanished tomorrow you could still read what you built. Try it on any session you save.

FLWR is early, so the deal is simple and it runs both ways. You get the whole DAW and the 32-plugin AutoSear suite hosted inside it, free, right now. In exchange we want to hear what breaks. The beta key is dated and it expires; when it does FLWR keeps running, editing, recording and saving your work, and stops being able to export until you have a new key. Nothing you made gets locked away. When FLWR leaves beta the plan splits into Lite and Challenger, and this page will say so the day it does.

Windows will warn you. Here is why, and the checksum.

You will see a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. That is because the installer is not code-signed yet, and Windows shows it for every unsigned app from anyone. Click More info, then Run anyway.

It installs for your user only and never asks for administrator rights. If you would rather check the file first, the SHA-256 checksum is published, and the read-me covers setup and what is not finished yet.

Read this before you download anything

What FLWR is, and what it is not

It is

A native Windows DAW. Real multi-track arrangement, drag stems in and they land on their own named tracks.
Peak-accurate waveforms with an RMS core, drawn from a multi-resolution cache, not an approximation.
A mixer with machined faders, segmented meters and per-channel plugin chains.
A VST3 host, with the AutoSear suite designed to live in it. (AutoSear itself ships as VST3 and CLAP; FLWR's host side is VST3 for now.)
An MPC-style pad grid using the General MIDI drum map, so what you make here hits the right drums everywhere else.
A piano roll, MIDI regions, session history as a tree, and autosave with recovery.

It is not

Not an Ableton or FL Studio replacement. Those are decades deep. FLWR is an early build and we are not going to pretend otherwise to sell you something.
Not signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will warn you on the installer. That is a real cost of being early, and we would rather say it than have you discover it.
Not on macOS.
Recording is not wired up yet. The engine can record and the transport has a Record button, but the two are not connected, so it will not capture audio. We would rather tell you than let you find out mid-take.
No way to enter a licence key yet. Nothing is being sold until there is.
Not finished. The version number is honest.

If you want the mixing and mastering tools right now and not the DAW around them, AutoSear is mature, in real sessions, and works in the DAW you already use.
